Essential Information

1. My commute home from work tonight informed me that Boyz II Men will be performing at Spirit Mountain Casino on April 4th.  I'm free that night, just in case anyone wanted to buy me tickets.  Just saying. (think I could get them to perform Motownphilly?)

2. I think I sleep the best in the middle of the afternoon when I'm fully dressed and passed out on my couch.  Why is nap time sleep so much deeper than night time sleep?

3. Tonight I did Zumba with one of the girls at work.  I didn't bring work out clothes, so I aerobic danced my little heart out while wearing skinny jeans, Toms, and a hoody.  Gross.  Sweaty.  Awesome.

4. Due to the direct consequences of my heartbreak/lack of sleep/zombie-like status, I found myself in a situation where I needed to borrow a laptop charger in order to complete a paper.  My lovely friend BreAnna came through in a pinch.  When I went by her apartment to drop off the charger today, her husband greeted me... with a fresh loaf of bread.  Umm so many different kinds of amazing.

5. I'm thinking about moving to Ecuador for the summer.  No, seriously.  I am.

Costa Rica is closer and maybe more friendly.

Afternoon naps are treats. In many parts of the world, those siesta's are normal and expected part of everyone 's day.

Fresh bread... Yumm ...

I too am a much better mid-afternoon napper than a middle of the night sleeper.
I am interested to hear your summer living plans. Hopefully we can catch up over more than a quick laptop charger exchange soon. Oh grad school!
I love that Adam had a home baked loaf of bread waiting for you. That man...

Familiar places and people may remind you of heartbreak, etc., for a while, but if this is where you think your life is mostly going to be, it makes more sense to heal here first. Save going away for when you're feeling whole again and can truly enjoy the experience. Leaving doesn't seem like a very efficient or healthy way of dealing with life's blows, at least in this situation. Love you.
