My friends Thomas and Samantha had their baby today and I honest-to-gosh could not be more excited about it. I was overwhelmed with the oddest sensation to pray for Samantha last night, so I began praying fervently... and just shortly after I received a text from Thomas that she was having contractions! I got another text at 5 a.m. saying they had arrived at the hospital. I prayed and prayed and prayed all morning and received my favorite text of the day, "He is out." Haha leave it to a guy to announce the birth of his child in such a matter-of-fact way.

But he's here, he's here, he's really here! And I get to meet him tomorrow! Hooray!

Praise God for new life and new beginnings all around.

I know you were praying hard during Cadence's birth and I'm glad you were praying for your even though you didn't realize she was in labor. :) That is such a guy way to announce the birth of his baby. Enjoy visiting the happy family!
