so this is what it's like to teach in California...

Due to the snowy weather, we had 7 kids absent today. That brings our class population down to 20 kids. It was absolutely amazing. At one point there were three adults in the classroom: my mentor teacher, an IA, and myself. I am in awe at the number of things we were able to accomplish.

Why are classrooms so crowded these days? I wish politicians would think twice about what is best for kids before cutting so much funding.

Anyways, cheers to having a glorious Thursday!

Does California really have such small class sizes? Interesting. I'll have to look into class sizes for Nevada. I don't think they are very favorable. Noah would actually like me to homeschool our children, but I don't think I have it in me. Did you know Las Vegas has the highest drop out rate in the country?! Lovely. Oh well, high school is a long way off. Maybe by then we can just hire Auntie Natalie to come be our private teacher :)
