Is it possible to feel unrequited love for an inanimate object?

Such as this purse:


It was originally, like, $65.  It went on sale for $48.  I contacted all my friends to see if I could afford it.  They assured me I could not.  Now it is on sale AGAIN, this time for $32.95.

Oh material possessions and the faltering economy, why must you taunt me so?

The answer is a resounding "YES". I had a lot of trouble parting with my 1964 Lincoln Continental. I was only able to do so when I thought I had found it a good new home.
