Ordinary Joy

Tucked myself between sweet-smelling, clean sheets and underneath a fluffed comforter last night.  Rested peacefully (or as peacefully as can be arranged given my upstairs neighbors) knowing I have a fridge full of groceries and some delicious left overs for meals throughout the week, and a platter of fresh-baked brownies just waiting to be devoured resting on top of the stove.  Costa Rican coffee beans, ground and waiting in the coffee maker, with a special treat of peppermint flavoring to look forward to in the morning.  A clean house thanks to a joint-effort Sunday scrub-down on the part of my roommate and myself.

This is going to be a long week, but I'm prepared.  :)
